SUSE Annual Conference & Awards

Invited by Scottish Union for Supported Employment to write and perform something for the morning opening of their day in Edinburgh's Hilton Carlton. Spent the day sitting in on various workshops and presentations, wrote about some of the highlights, inspirers and eye-openers of the day, then had the honour of summing up the event in poetic fashion at the day's end.

Thoroughly enjoyed this day, not just for the challenge of writing a presentable piece on the hoof, against the clock, but also meeting some genuinely inspirational people and getting insights into what is being done, practically and legislatively, building what needs built and breaking what needs broken down.
